Electronic Commerce Connection, Inc. celebrated its seventh anniversary in March 2002. ECC's primary focus is in the delivery of services in the emerging electronic information industry. Our staff were pioneers in the information field and have hands-on experience in developing electronic and on-line information resource systems.

Experience

ECC, Inc. has consulted with many major industries and organizations, specializing in SGML/XML technologies. These include SGML/XML, database design, XML/EDI, STEP, HyTime and IETMs. ECC has provided SGML and XML training to national and international clients. ECC has wide-ranging XML experience. We have implemented XML solutions for customers in all major vertical industries: e-business, publishing, aerospace, defense, telecommunications, manufacturing. ECC has consulted and help create industry standard XML for the following industries:

• Railroad - Parts Catalog
• Shipping - DTD and Data Dictionary for EDI 304, Bill of Lading message
• Insurance - Developed DTD for the Joint Venture Reinsurance Industry Standard
• Library - consulted with with industry working group for the NISO Circulation Interchange Protocol
• Legislation - On-going work with the House of Representatives. Created DTD's for Committee Reports, Conference Reports, Hearings and Testimonies and the United States Code.
• Open Financial Exchange (OFX) - Converted OFX standard DTD from SGML to XML. Created various XML tax forms for use with the OFX standard.
• ebXML - Active editor on the BPSS.
