<PARA>This illustrated parts catalog (herein referred to as catalog) lists, describes, and illustrates all of the replaceable assemblies and parts for the overhauled by Morrison-Knudsen Company, Inc. of Hornell New York.</PARA></TOPIC>
<TOPIC><TITLE>Function of Catalog</TITLE>
<PARA>The catalog is designed and intended to aid the user in identifying and ordering replacement parts to support proper maintenance of the equipment. It is not to be taken as the authority for the procedures of assembly or disassembly. Overhaul or repair should be done by authorized personnel using the <REFEXT
>R32 Overhaul/Repair Manual.</REFEXT></PARA>
<SUBTOPIC><TITLE>Layout of Catalog.</TITLE>
<PARA>The catalog is comprised of an ALPHA-NUMERICAL INDEX and a DETAILED PARTS LIST (consisting parts lists with supporting illustrations). </PARA></SUBTOPIC></TOPIC>

<TOPIC><TITLE>DETAILED PARTS LIST</TITLE>
<PARA>The detailed parts lists lists and illustrates in disassembly sequence all replaceable parts contained in the equipment. The parts lists are used in conjunction with the illustrations. Index numbers in the parts lists correspond to those other illustrations. Any part can therefore be identified if its part number or physical configuration is known. </PARA>
<PARA>The concept of "TOP DOWN BREAKDOWN" is carried out throughout. This will enable the user to follow the completely assembled major groups to their detailed components, by following the procedure set up in this catalog (the reverse is also true). Assembly relationship is indicated by using an indenture system in the Keyword/Description column. Item used to attach parts or assemblies to each other are designated "Attaching Parts" and are listed immediately following the item or items they attach. </PARA>
