What type of organization does your SGML system serve? |
|
|
| 2. |
What is the primary application of your SGML-system (please be specific,
e.g. technical manual publishing)? |
|
|
|
The following questions are about tools and follow a
categorization based on Steve Peppers's "The Whirlwind Guide to SGML &
XML Tools and Vendors" (
http://www.infotek.no/sgmltool/guide.htm ) and Robin Cover's "SGML/XML
Web Page" ( http://www.sil.org/sgml/sgml.html
). Not all tools will fit neatly into these boundaries, some tools will fit
more than one category, and not every system will have a tool in each category.
Use your discretion and feel free to use the "glue" (9) and "other"
(10) questions to accomodate information that doesn't fit into other categories.
The examples come from a system used to evaluate SGML technology with
publicly-available software; hopefully, they will provide a guide as you
consider your answers.
