Responsibilities of the position include:

1. Develop the FSS Handbook DITA topic templates on CMS for the writing effort
2. Develop and maintain the FSS Handbook content architecture (DITA maps) on CMS for validation and publication
3. Set up and maintain new CMS user accounts on-site, as required
4. Provide training and support for NGC engineers designated as Technical Reviewers of Handbook content
5. Support the development and performance of the FSS Handbook Workflow process on CMS
6. Support the Digital Knowledge System (DKS) development effort, as required
7. Set up and generate status/progress reports of Handbook content development via CMS
8. Travel as necessary (less than 10% of the time) to support Handbook activities.

Requirements:

The candidate will have a BS Engineering, Science, or Information Systems or requisite experience in SGML/XML architecture of at least five years. Prior experience with electro-mechanical systems, Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) development, Arbortext Epic Editor, Astoria Content Management Systems (CMS) application, Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG), and the Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) XML standard is desirable. The candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills as the position requires program, customer and supplier interface and writing of technical publications. The candidate must be highly motivated and possess the ability to work with minimal direction in a team-oriented, matrix (IPT) environment.
