This is a non-supervisory position responsible for the publication of
USP-NF and related texts, documents, and sections of publications for
content, style, grammar, syntax, referencing, and readability. The
incumbent in this role will communicate with science experts, as needed,

Software Engineer
Salary Range: $63,660 to $98,675 plus federal benefit package
Note: The U.S. Senate is unable to pay either interviewing or moving expenses.
Responsibilities:
The Software Engineer responsibilities include the following:
- Design, develop, and maintain XML authoring applications used to create legislative documents
- Analyze user requirements to define specifications and design components for new and existing functionality
- Analyze and resolve system defects in a timely manner
- Provide technical support to end users and other technical team members
- Write technical documentation for project plans, processes, procedures, applications, and products/systems
